Paint Tool Sai Dark Theme
I have been trying out SAI2, but the zoom behaviour is very different to the original SAI. This is actually throwing me off big-time. Where the original SAI zoomed from 100%, 150%, 200%, 300%, 400%, 500% etc, SAI2 zooms nothing like that and does a lot of inbetweens. This, for me, actually makes SAI2 a lot harder to use than the original SAI. 1,014 Best Paint Tool Sai Free Brush Downloads from the Brusheezy community. So I was asked on how to make a circle on Sai, and I will say I just googled/youtubed it, but for anyone who might be lazy or would just like for the convenience here, I’ll just post a picture tut ^^
Ahh yes yes =u= the circle… there’s 2 ways you can make them

To make a circle in Sai you can either:
1) Draw it manually
2) Use the lineart layer
a.
First, you should create a vector layer/lineart layer to start this off. As you can see, I’ve circled on the right side the layer which I am using. For my Sai it has created a VECTOR layer, though I think for some it may say LINEART instead. Also on the left, the tool to be used will be the CURVE tool.
[The one downside to this is that there will be no pressure levels of line weight if you would like that. You can just manually go over it with the tablet, or just manually draw the whole circle all together.]
b.
Once you have that, you can begin by clicking at any point with your MOUSE, not the tablet. I’ll explain why in a second. Using your mouse, after clicking at any point, rotate the canvas using the DELETE button or the button on your keyboard which rotates your canvas. After doing so, you can click again and once again rotate it further, and keep repeating this step until your circle is complete.
c.
Now that you have that, you should be able to see a complete circle, and voila you’re done =u=b Once you see the circle is complete, end the use of the curve tool with the ESC key or by DOUBLE CLICKING. If you don’t, you might get extra lines, though in all honesty it doesn’t matter because it just overlaps the already made lines so you see no difference.
d.
This image is just to show what could happen if you use your tablet instead of a mouse. If you attempt to do this which your tablet, at some point the circle will most likely start becoming wobbly and broken. Because your mouse is steady and does not use pressure, it is the only tool that should be used for this method.
e.
This last image is to show what happens if you forget to complete your circle using the ESC button or DOUBLE CLICKING and try drawing with your tablet again. You’ll have your circle, but excess lines will be made and yeah, you don’t want that probably.
And just as a last note, personally I just like my circle on a normal layer, so once i have this, I copy the entire layer and repaste is it so it can be a normal layer. You can use opacity lock to color the lines like normal lineart and everything so it should be fine, and this way also you’ll have access to the original tools in this layer. The circle can be transformed and everything else as well.
